I've done a few searches and so far, I'm coming up with nothing. Still, I'm determined to read about it (mostly because I'm pleased that my ideas are progressive). ^^;
I ADORE Michael Moore! Have you read Al Franken's "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them"? It's wonderful and I wish I had more of him to read!~
I tell you, I'm jealous of the people of Minnesota. The man is smart and I have no doubt at all of his capacity to serve.
My younger sister and I live together with the nest of our children. *laughs* We're SO MUCH ALIKE! That my older sister has embraced Right wing ideals confuses me on every level. She's implied that clinging to the Left is childish and ADULTS inevitably become Republicans. WHUT? I want to make her watch Death Note sometime ahahahaha, but she has no sense of humor whatsoever and would take it far too personally. Not to say I wouldn't mean for her to do so.
Yeah, I dig what you're saying and believe me, I've held these views waaaay before I ever became disabled. Naturally a change so drastic will take time, effort and more time and more effort. It's absolutely possible, though. Canada, for instance, is a lovely example of what America could be, what we should be, really.
I have a friend who lives in Michigan. If you drive over or even under the Michigan river, you'll find yourself in Windsor, CA., and you know you're in another country. Seriously, it's like the difference between Kansas in black and white and the bursting color of Oz. Except the weather, sadly. Agh, I have difficultly with that much humidity, but I suppose that's an entirely different conversation. ♥
